USDA Announces Farmer and Rancher Freedom Framework to End Agricultural Lawfare
Ending abusive government overreach. Protecting farmers, families, and private property.
USDA’s Research, Education, and Economics Under Secretary Dr. Scott Hutchins today announced the launch of the USDA National Proving Grounds Network for AgTech (NPG-Ag), a nationwide initiative designed to rigorously evaluate agricultural technologies under real-world U.S. farming and ranching conditions.
The USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) is providing one-time bridge payments through two main programs: the Farmer Bridge Assistance (FBA) program for row crops and the Assistance for Specialty Crop Farmers (ASCF) program for specialty crops. These programs are designed to provide short-term financial relief due to market disruptions and high input costs until new farm bill provisions take effect in late 2026.
